Cutting-Edge Science Learning and Experiments

Why do volcanoes erupt? How do engineers make a roller coaster seem dangerous but keep it safe? What makes an airplane really fly? We’ll answer those questions and more as we explore the world around us through science this summer.

Science Exploration is an outstanding opportunity for students, ages 10 to 13, to enjoy cutting-edge interactive science. Located at Cabrini College on Philadelphia’s prestigious Main Line, Science Exploration offers expert instruction combined with dozens of experiments and fascinating labs specially designed for the interests of middle-school students.

Hands-On Participation and Workshops

We create learning experiences for our students by designing our experiments to include hands-on participation whenever possible. Darryl Lee Baynes engages, entertains and educates students in a fun, interactive way as they learn core concepts that will be useful in future science endeavors.

Science is all around us. It impacts everything and everyone, from the food we eat to the clothes we wear. The program will make a meaningful connection between science and everyday life as it changes students’ perceptions about science in the real world.
