JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Residential Counselor, you’ll be ask to work with children from the age of 10 to 13 and helping with the administration of camp including the operation of camper mail, camper laundry, banking, office work, trip coordination, and activity programming.

Time: Seasonal
Hours: 6 days per week

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe, healthy, fun and instructive environment for the campers under your care. You will need to show integrity, concern for the campers under your care and an interest in their positive development. Even after orientation, we won't expect you to have all the answers, make all the right decisions, and know everything there is to know about camp. But we will expect you to take instructions from our senior staff, who are very knowledgeable about our programs.

  Must be enthusiastic, have a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude

Hard working and dedicated

Exceptional communication skills required

Phenomenal rapport with children and young adults is essential

Proven decision making and problem solving skills

Outgoing and sociable with strong organizational skills

Must be flexible to complete various duties as assigned

MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER

Must be available from June 21st to August 8th, 2010
