JK Xtreme Day Camp at The Shipley School
Skateboarding and Inline Skating for Ages 7–14
JK Xtreme is an exciting immersion in skateboarding or inline skating for boys and girls, ages 7 to 14. The camp offers an aggressive training program and state-of-the-art skatepark with more than three dozen pieces of apparatus to help young skaters and riders push their talents to the limit.
Our professional instructors use advanced training approaches and equipment to create the best experience for each skater. They also provide careful supervision and make sure safety gear is worn at all times.

This Camp’s Got Pop
All training is specifically geared to the rider’s skill level. JK Xtreme students are rated according to their level of ability and placed in small groups for individual instruction from our pros. Beginners concentrate on basic balance, steering, stopping and sport etiquette. Experienced riders work on assorted equipment and terrain to master advanced maneuvers and stunts.
Throw Down Some Flair
Skateboarding — Have fun at our skatepark as you learn to grind, ollie, and ride the ramps and rails. Instruction includes group sessions and one-on-one work on individual tricks. For beginners, goals are getting comfortable on the skateboard and building confidence. Intermediate and advanced riders work on developing greater confidence and style, while introducing more difficult stunts and tricks.
Inline Skating — Learn grind tricks, including backslides, frontslides and Royale, and air tricks such as a 180 spin and mute grab. Lessons take place in the skatepark, with mini-ramps, vert ramps, rails, a street course, and custom-made pro-quality grind rails of various shapes and heights.

An Attractive, Safe Environment With Excellent Facilities
Julian Krinsky Day Camps are held at the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr. The camps have full use of the school’s spacious classrooms, athletic facilities and playing fields — including an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a large gym, and several grass fields. The Creative & Performing Arts and Rising Stars camps are held in the middle school building, which features an art studio and a modern auditorium with fully equipped stage.
