Once again, a group of our students enjoyed being audience members of NBC’s the 10! Show! This was our second visit in only a week! Last time, we were entertained by Zac Efron and James Brolin. This week, we met a variety of experts and celebrities!

The beautiful 70-year old model, Valerie Ramsey, visited the show to share her secrets for staying beautiful on the inside and out at any age! Ramsey was promoting her new book, Gracefully: Looking and Being Your Best at Any Age. She was so lovely and gave us great advice!
Chris Bruni performed his new song, “Standing By Your Room.” Everyone was mesmorized by his voice and the lyrics. At the end the performance, he gave his new CD, I’ve Been Here, to everyone in the audience!
Shecky’s Girls Night Out gave each audience member two free tickets to attend their event at the Crystal Tea Room at the Wanamaker Building in Philadelphia. On a side note, some of us were lucky enough to attend this event the next night, where local boutiques sold their designer products at great deals!
Chef Jason Cichonski, from the restaurant Lacroix, joined the hosts, Bill and Lu Ann, in the show’s kitchen to prepare a delicious watermelon gazpacho. It was a perfectly refreshing dish for summer! We all enjoyed samples of this tasty treat at the end of the show!
Special thanks again to the 10! Show for welcoming our students. Everyone really enjoyed meeting the hosts and crew, as well as being able to hang out on the set afterward! We look forward to coming back to be a part of the audience again next summer!
