This year’s “tay-bandz” dance-a-thon was a night that we won’t soon forget! Thanks to everyone for their support in raising money to fight pediatric cancer!
We are thrilled by the response and deep level of caring by our students and their parents. Because of them, we surpassed last year’s total by over 50%, with donations totaling over $1,500!
It was a rocking night, with great music and great refreshments!
Who will forget seeing whipped cream pies in the faces of our own Julian and Tina Krinsky! They were great sports, as it was all in good fun, alone raising over $800!

“Tay-bandz” was founded by Taylor Matthews, a courageous young woman who fought bone cancer. We were so honored to have the Matthews family join us for the festivities! They were so touched to see our card-making station. This is where some of our students enjoyed themselves for most of the night, using their creative gifts and beautiful words of encouragement to create handmade cards for children fighting cancer. We plan to deliver these cards personally to the pediatric cancer center at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia at the end of this month.
Congratulations to everyone for their hard work, dedication, and care in raising money for this very special cause. If you haven’t already, please visit taybandz.org to learn more about the young woman who founded this organization.
We can’t wait to start planning next year’s dance! It’s going to be bigger and better than ever! We hope that you will all join us again!
