Midday Saturday, August 8th, tragedy struck above the Hudson River right outside of New York City when a Helicopter was struck by an airplane, breaking both aircraft into pieces and sending them crashing down into the river.   Sadly, 9 people passed away in this tragic accident, 6 in a NYC tourist helicopter, and 3 in the airplane.   The 3 passengers in the airplane were Steven, Daniel, and Douglas Altman.   The Altman family sent their son Douglas, 15,  to the Julian Krinsky School of Golf programs last summer for 5 weeks.  The JKCP team, our staff members and Golf professionals  extend our deepest condolences to the Altman family as well as the other victims of this tradegy.
