Below are the excerpts of a heart-warming letter we received from a parent of one of our students at the Julian Krinsky Yesh Shabbat Program.
“Dear Julian, Bobby, and the entire staff,
I do not have words to express my gratitude for what you have done for my daughter. She had been to other camps, and was truly unhappy. Anyway, she was traumatized by the camp experience two years in a row, and that was the end of the camp idea for her! When we first heard about your program, it sounded like something that would work for her. Anyway, she just came home from her 2 week stay, and let me tell you…she had the time of her life!!! Your camp is an amazing concept that kids do not have to be in jail to enjoy their summer! It is gratifying, as a parent, to see a camp actually put money back into the program, instead of their pockets! You all made my daughter feel safe, comfortable, and at home, and there is nothing more important than that! Of course, the programs and classes you run are superior to any program I have ever heard of!!! You proved that kids can have fun doing activities in camp, with real instructors who actually know what they are doing!!! The grounds for your camp were so incredibly breathtaking! They were an experience on their own!!!! The dorm rooms were fantastic and clean!!! The food was also wonderful…what a pleasure not to have to worry what your child is eating!!! I could continue but I do not want to keep you. Please always continue what you do….every child has a story, and every child deserves to have some feel good time…every child deserves to have a summer at the Julian Krinsky Camp!!!!!”
